recreation opportunities across Northern Ireland and to ensure that information
required to facilitate participation in any activity is easily accessible,
accurate and up to date.
Countryside Recreation Information Service
- Bi-annual audit of all databases
Activities Marketing Plan
- Review and revise CAAN's consumer marketing strategy
(including PR; advertising; literature production and distribution; website;
direct mail; ezines etc.)
- Promotion of existing and new product launches
- Facilitate NITB to create inspirational cycling guide
- Agree activities to be included with ATF, agree format of guide with
ATF, source tender for writers/photographers and agree design
- Produce Northern Ireland Canoe guide for all disciplines
Web Site
- Review and revise corporate website
- New website for walking developed incorporating www.ulsterway.co.uk
- Develop a website for inland waterway's recreation sites
Search Directory
- New brand agreed for 'Landwaterair'
- Bi-annual review of all information
- Electronic search directory - Increase number of unique visitors per month
following the re-launch
- Populate landwaterair / Discover Northern Ireland (Activities) with shared
data
- Review distribution of search directory hard copy
- Agree with Disability Sport most appropriate way to provide information

- Accurate and up to date database of all countryside recreation

Library - Updating of resource recording mechanism agreed, list
