Company

The Network's subsidiary company is Countryside Recreation NI. Limited by guarantee with charitable status, the Company is responsible for securing funding to enable the Network to undertake practical countryside recreation projects.

The Company has overall control for the Network's financial matters. The Company is accountable for the efficient and economic use of financial resources provided to the Network and for the regularity and propriety of its expenditure. To this end the Company has financial systems in place to monitor the Network's running costs, capital and other expenditure, income from grants and asset holding.

The Company is linked directly to the Network through its membership. The Company has six Directors. The Chair of the Network is also the Company's Chair, while the Network Director acts as Company Secretary.
