- A UK wide Disability Sports Organisation’s accredited course
- The course will further develop your knowledge and skills thereby assisting you in delivering your services so they are fully accessible and inclusive to people with disabilities
- There will be practical workshops for four of the most commonly utilised sports in the outdoor industry - archery, canoeing, climbing and orienteering
- Communications and etiquette training. Expert advice to help increase confidence and awareness for working with people with disabilities
- Recognised as a good practice accreditation in terms of future tendering for ‘Venture Outdoors’ participation sessions
- This will be the foundation of the future training to be delivered within the ‘Venture Outdoors’ project
Each of the workshops will be facilitated by an expert in their field who has worked to adapt the sport to include all.
