
In partnership with The National Trust, CAAN is in the early stages of developing a Recreational Masterplan for Divis and Black Mountains. To date a site assessment has been completed, which outlines the following aims: To provide an accessible and sustainable recreation resource, To improve the value of the site as a recreation resource, To manage the impact of recreational trail users on the site, To improve overall accessibility within the site, To improve the 'sense of place' experienced by visitors
The project will include a range of walking trails suited to a variety of users, targeted towards: The less able and parents with buggies, Families, Occassional walkers, Ramblers and hill walkers, Trail runners
