National Trails Day is a celebration of Ireland’s wonderful variety of trails and a chance for everyone to enjoy some of our most beautiful countryside, forests, mountains, rivers and lakes. It is an all Ireland event which seeks to encourage Ireland's population to get out and enjoy the huge range of trails available across the country.
This event was very successful in the Republic of Ireland in 2009, and CAAN Marketing Team hope to replicate that success in Northern Ireland.
For 2010, CAAN is leading Northern Ireland's effort to organise and promote events. CAAN will work with key partners as well as large number of event organisers to ensure maximum attendance and profile of the event.
