Public Land Research

The aim of this project is to identify and record using Geographical Information Systems (GIS), all public land accessible for outdoor recreation in Northern Ireland.

The project will identify all sites owned by DARD, Forest Service, NI Water, Waterways Ireland, DCAL and DOE. Information regarding outdoor recreation taking place and the facilities and services at these sites will be recorded. This information will be made available through a report and CAAN websites.
