Social Marketing

One of the major projects the marketing team at CAAN will be embracing within the next couple of months is the concept of ‘Social Marketing’ or ‘Social Network Marketing’ i.e. the use of Online social networks to enable people to create profiles, describe their interests, share their thoughts in blogs or postings, and connect with other people. Plans to incorporate social marketing techniques onto all websites within CAAN are currently being finalised, development should start in the autumn with a launch in the New Year.

• Create a customer reviewing system on WalkNI.com, CanoeNI.Com, CycleNI.com
• Enable RSS feeds from all websites

• Feed into 2/3 key forums and blogs on key activity specific websites
• Upload key product/service information into Trip Advisor, Wiki Pedia, Google. (see 2.3)
