Walkers Welcome Scheme

As part of the ongoing enhancement of the walking product offering in Northern Ireland, CAAN in liaison with NITB will develop a Walkers Welcome Scheme.

Accommodation who qualify for the Walkers Welcome Scheme will be rated on a range of walking-friendly criteria such as providing drying facilities and information about local walks. During 2010/11 CAAN will work with NITB to draw up proposals for Walkers Welcome Scheme.
