Network Director
Responsible for all the Company’s staff and resources, the effective management of these, and taking a leadership role in creating a common vision and agenda for the Network and the Company including acting as a full Executive Director of that Company and as Company Secretary.


Office Manager
Responsible for managing the Administration Team of the Network to ensure the effective and efficient day to day running of the Network and all its activities.


Administrative Officer
Responsible for providing reception, administrative and financial support to the Countryside Access and Activities Network.


Product Development Manager
A member of staff since 2002, Clare leads the Product Development Team in identifying and delivering a range of outdoor recreation projects across Northern Ireland. This includes securing funding and managing a range of projects from the design stage through to implementation.


Development Officer
Sarah is responsible for the planning and delivery of a range of outdoor recreation projects across Northern Ireland. Sarah specializes in the development of CAAN's water based projects including the Canoe Trails.


Development Officer
Member of the Product Development Team, working on planning and delivery of outdoor recreation projects across Northern Ireland working witha range of partnerships and organisations. Specific roles includes managing the Volunteer Ranger Programme, overseeing all walking products, product audits and developing projects such as the accessibility audit and research into public land used for outdoor recreation.


Research and Monitoring Officer (Currently on Maternity Leave)
Responsible for undertaking outdoor recreation related research across Northern Ireland, to co-ordinate and manage outdoor recreation research contracts in partnership with other key agencies and to undertake an auditing role with respect to all products on the ground delivered by the Network.


Countryside Recreation Network (CRN), Secretariat
The Countryside Recreation Network is a Network covering the UK and Republic of Ireland. CRN gives easy access to information and people concerned with countryside and recreation related matters.
The Countryside Recreation Network operates UK and Ireland wide and reaches a variety of organisations and individuals in the statutory, private and public sectors. CRN exchanges and shares information to develop best policy and practice in countryside recreation.
The Countryside Recreation Network was established in the 1968 following the Countryside Act of that year we have, for the last 43 years, sought to develop and share good practice in outdoor recreation.
Kathryn provides a Secretariat service to CRN and works part time - Tuesdays and Wednesdays.


'Venture Outdoors' Development Officer
Responsible for co-ordinating, managing and ensuring the delivery of all training, participation and community engagement and facilitiation programmes within the project - Venture Outdoors - Creating Healthy Communities.


Marketing Manager
Responsible for managing the Information, Marketing and Industry Communication Team of the Network and ensuring effective and efficient delivery of the team’s objectives specifically that of, raising the awareness of outdoor recreation and adventure tourism opportunities across Northern Ireland and engaging with the ‘industry’ to allow market opportunities to be capitalised upon.


Activity Tourism Manager
Responsible for ensuring the marketing team deliver their objectives, specifically that of raising the profile of outdoor recreation and activity tourism opportunities across Northern Ireland and engaging the ‘industry’ to allow market opportunities to be capitalised upon.


Marketing Officer & Leave No Trace Ireland Project Officer
Responsible for managing the day-to-day business activities of the Leave No Trace Programme, assuming responsibility as the key contact for the company - Leave No Trace Ireland and assisting CAAN's Marketing team to help deliver the teams objectives, specifically that of raising the awareness of outdoor recreation and adventure tourism opportunities across Northern Ireland and engaging with the ‘industry’ to allow market opportunities to be capitalised upon. Within CAAN Beverley's work focuses on the promotion of cycling and corporate communications.


Marketing Officer
Responsible for facilitating the Marketing Team to inform, promote and raise awareness of outdoor recreation opportunities available across Northern Ireland to the local population and visitors. Chris’ work focuses on the promotion of walking and securing media coverage.


Marketing Intern
Responsible for facilitating the marketing team to inform, promote and raise awareness of the outdoor recreation opportunities available across Northern Ireland to the local population and tourists.


'Venture Outdoors' Marketing Officer
Responsible for co-ordinating, managing and delivering all aspects of the information and marketing programme of the project - Venture Outdoors - Creating Healthy Communities and incorporating it within CAAN’s current marketing mix.
